SMC Tenders: ₹160 Cr for New EWS Flats in Surat

Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) has invited bids for the construction of EWS-I residential flats and commercial shops under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna (PMAY) 2.0 – Affordable Housing in Partnership (AHP) scheme.

The project, valued at ₹160.76 crore, covers the development of flats at T.P. Scheme No. 54 (Bhestan), FP No. 71. The scope includes the complete construction process, from planning and conceptualization to structural design and proof checking. It also encompasses essential internal and external amenities such as plastering, flooring, plumbing, drainage, electrification, stormwater management, horticulture, a sewage treatment plant (TSTP), compound wall, entry gate, street lighting, lifts, DG sets, and an organic waste converter.

The building design is required to comply with the guidelines of the Urban Development & Housing Department (UD & UHD) and adhere to prevailing CGDCR-SMC norms.

The deadline for bid submission is 4 February 2026.
