The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has initiated the bidding process to upgrade a 31.025-km section of NH-327 in West Bengal to four lanes. Estimated at Rs 863.30 crore, the project involves widening the Bagdogra-Panitanki-Kharibari-Galgalia stretch from its current two lanes with paved shoulders. This strategic upgrade aims to significantly enhance highway capacity, strengthen regional infrastructure, and improve connectivity along this vital corridor.
