Bids Open: Upgrading the Dibrugarh-Ledo Stretch on NH-38

The National Highways & Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd (NHIDCL) has called for bids to complete the remaining work on widening and upgrading a two-lane road with paved shoulders on the Dibrugarh–Ledo section of NH-38 in Assam’s Tinsukia district.

The project covers the stretch from km 27.150 to km 47.682 and includes construction of the proposed Margherita and Ledo bypasses under Package 5, on EPC mode. Scope of work includes construction of new pavement, rehabilitation of existing pavement, and development or rehabilitation of key infrastructure such as bridges, intersections, interchanges, and drainage systems.

Estimated at ₹340.41 crore, the construction timeline is 24 months, followed by a five-year maintenance period.
