Jagtial–Karimnagar BOT: $2 Billion Highway Bids Open

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has invited bids for the four-laning of the Jagtial–Karimnagar section of National Highway-563 in Telangana.

The project covers a design length of 58.866 km, extending from design chainage 0.000 km (equivalent to existing chainage 90/500 on NH-63) to design chainage 58.866 km, terminating near SH-1 chainage 170.400 km at the Karimnagar bypass end.

With an estimated cost of ₹1,979.11 crore, the project will be implemented under the Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) Toll model.

This key infrastructure initiative is expected to improve regional connectivity, ease traffic congestion, and enhance logistics efficiency in northern Telangana, while supporting the broader goal of economic development and inter-city mobility.

The last date for bid submission is 20 November 2025.
