MoRTH Invites Bids for ₹256 Cr Gangapur City Bypass.

The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) has invited bids for the construction of a 19.16-km-long bypass for Gangapur City on National Highway 23 (NH-23) in Rajasthan. The project will be executed under the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) model as part of the Annual Plan 2024–25.

The proposed bypass will be developed as a two-lane carriageway with paved shoulders, involving rehabilitation, upgradation, and augmentation of the existing road. Key components of the project include the construction and/or rehabilitation of major and minor bridges, culverts, road intersections, interchanges, RCC drains, and other associated works.

The selected contractor will also be responsible for maintaining the bypass during the five-year Defect Liability Period (DLP) following project completion.

The estimated cost of the project is ₹256.54 crore, with a completion timeline of 24 months. The last date for bid submission is August 11, 2025.
