Bansal Construction Works has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for the development of the Ujjain-Jaora access-controlled greenfield highway in Madhya Pradesh, with a bid of ₹1,676.36 crore.
The project, to be executed under the Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM), involves the construction of a four-lane highway with paved shoulders, spanning a design length of 98.41 km. It includes a dedicated spur link to Ujjain, enhancing regional connectivity and logistics.
Once completed, the highway will help decongest existing routes and boost transport efficiency in central Madhya Pradesh. The initiative is part of the Bharatmala Pariyojana, aimed at expanding India's network of high-speed, high-quality highways.
