EIL to Audit 5,000 km of National Highways in Major Quality Push

The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) has appointed Engineers India Ltd (EIL) as a three-year third-party inspection agency to audit construction quality across approximately 5,000 km of expressways and national highways. This initiative reinforces the government's push for rigorous independent oversight, complementing existing evaluations by retired government engineers empanelled through the NHAI. EIL brings proven expertise to this role, having previously monitored quality for major highway development projects.
