The trial run of the Bandikui-Jaipur Link Expressway began on July 2, 2025, marking a major milestone in enhancing regional connectivity between Jaipur and the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway. Spanning 66.91 kilometers, this newly built four-lane, access-controlled expressway connects Bandikui in Rajasthan’s Dausa district to Jaipur, reducing travel time between Delhi and Jaipur to just 2.5 to 3 hours.
Constructed at a cost of ₹1,368 crore, the expressway supports speeds of up to 120 km/h. The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) reported that the project was completed ahead of schedule. The 10-day trial run, which began at 8 a.m., will include comprehensive facility testing and quality assessments to address any operational issues.
The Khuri Interchange is already operational, easing movement from the Manoharpur-Kauthun highway. Additional interchanges will be opened progressively, depending on the success of the trial phase.
