The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has announced a new tender for the construction of a four-lane viaduct in the Singhara-Binjhabahal section of NH-06 (New NH-49) in Odisha. Valued at Rs 67.07 crore, the engineering procurement and construction (EPC) contract aims to build a viaduct spanning 532 meters.
This includes 20 intermediate spans of 25 meters each and two end spans of 16 meters each, specifically within the Elephant Corridor at km 404+300. The project, expected to be completed within 18 months, also involves constructing approaches with flexible pavement.
Interested parties have until 22nd July 2024 to submit their bids for consideration. This initiative underscores NHAI's commitment to infrastructure development in sensitive ecological zones, facilitating safer and more efficient travel along this critical highway route.
