Nikhil Construction Group has secured the contract as the lowest bidder for a significant road widening project in Maharashtra's Sindhudurg district. The project, overseen by Maharashtra State Infrastructure Development Corporation (MSIDC), aims to enhance and widen the Devgad Nipani Road (SH 178) spanning from km 0/00 to km 66/00 in Devgad taluka and Kankavali, covering a stretch of 65.98 km. The scope includes upgrading roads from 5.50 meters to 7.00 meters in width, along with construction of bridges and culverts.
The bidding process concluded with Nikhil Construction Group submitting a bid of Rs 363.40 crore, emerging as the L1-bidder. This project is part of MSIDC's efforts to improve infrastructure across Maharashtra, addressing critical transportation needs in the region.
