Odisha Unlocks Massive ₹13,823 Cr Road Infrastructure Boom

The Odisha government is set to inaugurate 49 completed road infrastructure projects with a total investment of ₹1,721 crore, reinforcing the state's commitment to improving connectivity and transportation infrastructure.

Alongside the inauguration of these projects, the government will also lay the foundation for 47 new road projects involving an investment of ₹12,102 crore. The upcoming initiatives are aimed at expanding and modernising Odisha’s road network, enhancing regional connectivity, and supporting economic growth across the state.

The investments are part of Odisha’s broader infrastructure development strategy focused on improving the movement of people and goods, strengthening links between urban and rural areas, and increasing access to key industrial, commercial, and economic centres.

Officials said the projects are expected to play a vital role in boosting economic activity, improving transportation efficiency, and supporting the state’s long-term development objectives.
