ACME Solar Holdings, through its wholly owned subsidiary ACME Renewtech Sixth, has signed a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI).
The agreement relates to the development of a 300 MW/1,200 MWh ISTS-connected assured peak renewable energy project under FDRE Tranche VII. Power supply from the project is scheduled to commence from May 28, 2028.
The project will provide four hours of assured peak power during non-solar hours and will maintain a minimum annual availability requirement of 85 per cent. The capacity was awarded under SECI’s tariff-based competitive bidding process following an e-reverse auction conducted in February 2026.
According to the company, the project will utilise ACME Solar’s existing night-time grid connectivity infrastructure located in high solar irradiation zones.
The agreement further strengthens the company’s renewable energy portfolio, taking its total PPA-signed capacity to 6,570 MW out of an overall contracted portfolio of 8,070 MW.
ACME Solar Holdings currently operates 2,990 MW of contracted renewable energy capacity and is developing an additional 5,080 MW under construction, including nearly 18 GWh of battery energy storage systems, at a tariff of ₹6.28 per unit.
