The Solar Milestone: Elvin Industries Targets 1 Million Rooftops

Elvin Industries has set an ambitious target to install solar rooftop systems in one million households, aligning with the government’s vision of positioning Andhra Pradesh as a leading green energy hub.

During a meeting in Amaravati, Chairman Vijay Bhaskar briefed Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on the company’s progress in implementing rooftop solar projects across the state. The company also highlighted its contribution to employment generation, having already created around 500 jobs, with plans to generate nearly 20,000 additional employment opportunities in the coming year.

Chief Minister Naidu commended the company’s efforts, particularly its focus on quality and customer satisfaction, and encouraged it to sustain its growth momentum. He also noted the rapid expansion of investments and job creation in the solar energy sector, driven by the state’s proactive renewable energy initiatives.

The initiative is expected to enhance energy self-reliance while contributing to environmental sustainability and long-term economic growth.
