Inox Wind (IWL) has secured a 51 MW order from First Energy Private Limited (FEPL), a renewable energy subsidiary of the Thermax Group, focused on delivering clean energy solutions to India’s commercial and industrial (C&I) sector.
The order involves the supply of 3 MW class wind turbines, each with a 140-metre hub height and 145-metre rotor diameter. These turbines will be installed at FEPL’s project site in Tamil Nadu through its special purpose vehicle (SPV), First Energy 10.
The contract scope includes the supply of wind turbine generators (WTGs) along with limited engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services, primarily covering project supervision. Inox Wind will also deliver multi-year operations and maintenance (O&M) services post-commissioning, which will be managed through its subsidiaries.
This order strengthens Inox Wind’s growing project portfolio and further expands its presence in Tamil Nadu’s wind energy market, reinforcing its position as a key player in India’s renewable energy landscape.
