VRPL Secures ₹474 Crore Gujarat Wind Project

Venwind Refex Power Ltd (VRPL), a subsidiary of Refex Industries, has signed a term sheet for the supply of wind turbine generators (WTGs) and tubular towers for wind energy projects in Gujarat, valued at ₹474.45 crore.

The contract was awarded by a leading independent power producer (IPP) known for executing turnkey wind farm solutions across India, in line with the country’s push for sustainable energy development.

The scope of the project includes:

Supply of WTGs and towers, Technical and supervisory support for casting foundations, Erection of WTGs

Execution Timeline:

Phase 1: ₹142.33 crore to be completed by March 2026, Phase 2: ₹332.12 crore to be completed by March 2027

This project will significantly enhance renewable energy capacity in Gujarat, reinforcing India’s broader green energy targets. VRPL’s participation marks continued momentum in wind power infrastructure development, reflecting the increasing shift toward clean energy solutions nationwide.
