Waaree Energies has secured a significant contract to supply 90 MW of dual glass bifacial solar modules for a project by Juniper Green Cosmic in Bikaner, Rajasthan. This latest order involves the provision of 540/545Wp modules, further strengthening Waaree’s position in the Indian solar market.
With an installed capacity of 12 GW as of June 2023, Waaree Energies continues to play a crucial role in advancing India’s renewable energy goals. The deployment of these advanced bifacial modules is set to enhance the solar power capacity of the region, contributing to both local economic growth and broader environmental sustainability.
The bifacial technology, which allows for increased energy capture by utilizing light reflected from the ground, is expected to boost the efficiency and performance of the solar project. This move aligns with Waaree’s commitment to supporting India’s transition to cleaner energy sources.
In addition to improving the region’s power supply, the project is anticipated to generate new employment opportunities, further benefiting the local community. The successful implementation of this project will mark a significant step towards achieving India’s renewable energy targets and fostering economic development in Rajasthan.
Waaree Energies’ latest contract underscores its ongoing dedication to driving progress in the renewable energy sector, leveraging cutting-edge technology to make a positive impact on both the environment and the economy.
