Ahluwalia Contracts (India) has secured a contract for the construction and overall development of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra at Punauradham, the birthplace of Mother Sita, located in Bihar’s Sitamarhi district.
The engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract involves comprehensive civil construction works and carries a stipulated execution period of 42 months. The total contract value stands at ₹888.38 crore, inclusive of GST.
Awarded by the Bihar State Tourism Development Corporation (BSTDC), the project represents a significant addition to Ahluwalia Contracts’ portfolio of landmark infrastructure and heritage development works. Once completed, the project is expected to strengthen tourism infrastructure, enhance the region’s cultural prominence, and provide modern facilities for pilgrims and visitors.
