Adani Ports Launches Major Infrastructure Upgrade at Mundra Port

Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone (APSEZ) is developing a dedicated empty container yard (ECY) with integrated warehousing at Mundra Port, Gujarat. Designed to manage the complete empty container lifecycle, the project aims to boost handling efficiency, safety, security, and regulatory compliance. This initiative aligns with APSEZ’s broader growth strategy to scale container capacity by over six million TEUs in the next five years. Mundra Port remains India's largest container hub, processing roughly 1.6 million TEUs of empty containers yearly and handling approximately 35 percent of the nation's total container trade.
