Adani Wilmar to Pump Rs 600 Cr into Edible Oil

Adani Wilmar is set to invest ₹600 crore this financial year to enhance its edible oil processing capacities. This new investment complements its ongoing expansion projects worth ₹3,400 crore, aimed at increasing overall capacity across its diverse business segments.

The company plans to wrap up current capital expenditures of ₹2,200 crore within this fiscal year, alongside a previous capex of ₹1,200 crore scheduled for completion by March 2026.

In addition, Adani Wilmar is initiating a fresh investment of ₹500 to ₹600 crore to boost its processing capacities for oilseeds like sunflower and cottonseeds. The company also aims to increase its solar power generation capacity from 8 MW to 15 MW.

Based in Ahmedabad, Adani Wilmar is known for its 'Fortune' brand products. The company is also expanding its food product line to include noodles and pasta for consumers, along with specialty items tailored for institutional buyers.

This strategic move is expected to drive volume-led growth, reinforcing Adani Wilmar’s position in the market while enhancing its sustainability efforts through increased solar power capacity.
