Adani Group and Jabil have announced plans to form a strategic alliance to establish a world-class, vertically integrated artificial intelligence (AI) and data centre infrastructure manufacturing platform in India, aimed at supporting the rapidly expanding demand for advanced computing infrastructure.
The proposed partnership will combine Jabil’s extensive expertise in engineering, supply chain management, and hyperscale manufacturing with Adani Group’s strengths in infrastructure development, green energy, logistics, and data centre operations. Together, the companies aim to create a comprehensive domestic ecosystem for the production of AI-ready data centre hardware and supporting infrastructure.
The platform is expected to focus on large-scale manufacturing of high-density AI racks, servers, storage systems, and networking equipment, including next-generation liquid-cooled solutions designed for hyperscale operators, colocation providers, and enterprise data centres. In addition, the alliance plans to manufacture critical supporting components such as power distribution units, coolant distribution systems, transformers, switchgear, busbars, and thermal management solutions, enabling an integrated end-to-end supply chain.
According to the companies, the initiative is designed to address a global market opportunity estimated at more than USD 3 trillion over the next seven years, driven by accelerating investments in artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and high-performance computing infrastructure.
The collaboration also aligns with India's growing digital infrastructure requirements, increasing demand for data localisation, and the rapid expansion of the domestic AI ecosystem. It supports the broader objective of strengthening India's position in the global technology manufacturing value chain while reducing dependence on imported data centre equipment.
The initiative further complements Adani Group’s long-term vision of developing 5 GW of green-energy-powered, AI-ready hyperscale data centre capacity by 2035, creating a foundation for sustainable and scalable digital infrastructure growth in India.
