Aerolloy Technologies plans to set up Exotic Materials Project in Uttar Pradesh

Aerolloy Technologies Limited (ATL) is planning a new Exotic Materials Project in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, at the UP Defence Industrial Corridor. The project will involve the establishment of a fully integrated material manufacturing plant for exotic materials such as titanium, cobalt, and nickel superalloys. The project will be completed in three phases, with a total peak manufacturing capacity of 5,000 tonnes per year. The total cost of the project is 14 crore. The plant will include cutting-edge technology such as a vacuum arc remelter (VAR). 

The Exotic Materials Project will have a huge impact on the Indian defence sector. The project will lessen India's reliance on exotic material imports, which are required for the production of modern army equipment. The initiative will also provide employment and stimulate the local economy. As of September 2023, The project is now in the stage of receiving approvals & has obtained all necessary government permissions work of the project is anticipated to occur in either 2023 or 2024.
