Aerospace Power Play: The Hutchinson-Dynamatic Partnership

Hutchinson and Dynamatic Technologies have entered into a memorandum of agreement (MoA) to jointly capitalise on India’s fast-expanding aerospace sector.

The collaboration brings together Hutchinson’s capabilities in advanced composite and multi-material systems with Dynamatic’s established expertise in metallic aerostructures and assemblies, strengthening their combined positioning with global OEMs. Hutchinson provides end-to-end solutions spanning design to serial production, with a focus on performance optimisation, weight reduction, sustainability, and cost competitiveness. Dynamatic contributes its proven track record in Class 1 metallic aerostructures, underscoring India’s growing prominence in global aerospace manufacturing.

As part of the agreement, Dynamatic will assign Hutchinson its first composite parts work package, while Hutchinson will award Dynamatic a multi-year contract for metallic components. The partnership is designed to support aircraft production ramp-ups, address the needs of India’s expanding aerospace ecosystem, and prepare for next-generation aircraft programmes by leveraging complementary strengths across materials and manufacturing technologies.

Commenting on the development, Helene Moreau-Leroy, Chairman and CEO of Hutchinson, said India represents a high-growth and strategically important aerospace market for the company, which already has an established presence in the country through its automotive operations. She added that the alliance would enhance industrial competitiveness, deliver advanced expertise to global OEMs, and reinforce Hutchinson’s ability to provide complex, innovative, and competitive solutions close to its customers worldwide.
