AGEL Powers Up: 408 MW Green Boost in Khavda, Gujarat

Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has commissioned 408.1 MW of renewable energy projects at Khavda, Gujarat, marking a significant milestone in its clean energy expansion. The capacity has been added through AGEL’s various step-down subsidiaries.

With this addition, AGEL’s total operational renewable energy capacity now stands at 16,486.1 MW, reinforcing its position as one of India’s largest renewable energy companies. The Khavda projects further strengthen AGEL’s nationwide footprint and reflect its commitment to accelerating India’s energy transition.

This development aligns with India’s climate goals, aiming to reduce carbon emissions and improve energy security through large-scale deployment of wind and solar power. The new capacity also contributes to AGEL’s diversified portfolio and long-term vision of building a sustainable and resilient energy ecosystem.
