Shares of Ahluwalia Contracts soared by more than 13% on Monday, June 3, following the announcement of securing two significant contracts totaling ₹2,245.15 crore. According to a stock exchange filing on Saturday, June 1, the company disclosed contracts valued at ₹2,157 crore and ₹88.15 crore.
The first contract, valued at ₹2,157 crore, was awarded by India Jewellery Park, Mumbai, for the construction and development of a gems and jewellery park in Mahape, Navi Mumbai. The project is slated for completion within 32 months.
Ahluwalia Contracts also secured a contract worth ₹88.15 crore from Daffodil Hotel Private Limited for civil work associated with Park Hyatt, situated in the Mormugao District of South Goa. The anticipated completion time for this project is 15 months.
