Ai+ Smartphone x Optiemus: Manufacturing the Future of India

Ai+ Smartphone has entered into a manufacturing partnership with Optiemus Electronics Limited to produce smartphones and other smart devices in India.

Under the agreement, the companies will manufacture smartphones, tablets, Internet of Things (IoT) devices, and advanced wearable products at OEL’s facility in Noida. As part of the collaboration, Ai+ Smartphone and Optiemus Electronics plan to jointly invest around ₹125 crore over the next five years to strengthen local electronics manufacturing in line with the Make in India initiative.

The partnership is expected to generate around 1,200 direct and indirect employment opportunities across manufacturing, operations, and related support functions.

As part of the initial production plan, Optiemus Electronics will manufacture approximately three million Ai+ Smartphone devices, while gradually expanding production to include tablets, IoT products, and advanced wearable devices.

Ai+ Smartphone devices will run on NxtQuantum OS, designed to offer greater transparency, enhanced security, and compliance with Indian data regulations. As the company expands its product portfolio, the collaboration with Optiemus is expected to scale production efficiently while keeping core technology and operating system development rooted in India.

Commenting on the partnership, Ashok Gupta, Director at Optiemus Electronics, said the company’s manufacturing expertise and facilities will support Ai+ Smartphone as it scales production of smartphones and new device categories from India, strengthening domestic electronics manufacturing while enabling future export-led growth.
