Ajni Station Rises: Modern Hub Nears Completion in Nagpur.

Rapid progress is being made in the redevelopment of Ajni Railway Station under Central Railway’s Nagpur Division, bringing the station closer to its vision of a modern, user-friendly commuter hub.

Key upgrades include the almost-finished East Side station building, which will introduce improved passenger amenities, and the completion of two Type-IV residential towers for railway employees. Platform enhancements continue, with COP columns erected on Platforms 4 and 5 to expand shelter coverage, while completed North and South FOBs now ensure seamless inter-platform movement.

The redesigned station will deliver better accessibility, reorganized passenger areas, heightened safety, and a refreshed architectural look. Central Railway has reiterated its commitment to minimizing inconvenience to commuters throughout the construction phase.
