Ami Organics (AMI) has successfully commissioned a 10.8 MW DC solar power plant in Pratapnagar, Nandod, Narmada district, Gujarat, marking a significant step in its sustainability journey. The facility is comprised of two captive solar plants, each with a capacity of 5.4 MW.
This solar plant aligns with Ami Organics' strategic sustainability objectives as the company works toward reaching a total solar capacity of 15.80 MW. The newly operational plant will substantially lower electricity costs by fulfilling most of the power requirements for its Ankleshwar and Jhagadia units in Gujarat.
Furthermore, Ami Organics is in the process of developing a 5 MW solar power plant to support its unit in Sachin, Surat. Upon completion, the company will rely predominantly on renewable energy to power its core facilities.
