Anaghachem Gears Up for API Intermediates Mfg in Gujarat

Anaghachem Private Limited is undertaking a significant venture by establishing an Active Pharmaceuticals Intermediates (APIs) Manufacturing Unit in the Saykha Industrial Estate, Bharuch, Gujarat. With a project cost of Rs. 6 crores spread over a 5,000 sq. mtr. plot, this initiative concentrates on producing intermediates crucial for the pharmaceutical industry's finished drug production.

The key focus lies in the potential economic boost for Gujarat's pharmaceutical sector, promising job opportunities while also highlighting environmental considerations. Flue gas emissions from various machinery involved in the production process, such as steam boilers and thermic fluid heaters, demand meticulous management.

However, challenges loom concerning environmental compliance, waste management, and stringent safety measures. Suggestions for successful implementation encompass the adoption of green technologies to curb emissions, prioritizing waste minimization through recycling and reuse practices, active community engagement to address concerns, securing necessary permits beforehand, and instituting regular emissions monitoring to ensure regulatory compliance. Anaghachem's API Manufacturing Unit project showcases potential for industry growth but requires meticulous planning and proactive environmental measures for sustainable and responsible operations.

As on January, 2024. The project is now in the stage of receiving approvals. The project has received all necessary clearances.
