Andhra Pradesh: ₹4 Trillion Green Leap in 8 Months

Andhra Pradesh has rapidly become a top destination for renewable energy (RE) investments, securing nearly ₹4 trillion from domestic and international investors in just eight months. This investment boom is driven by the state’s Integrated Clean Energy Policy, designed to establish Andhra Pradesh as a leading hub for green energy.

Launched in October 2024, the policy has streamlined project approvals and introduced new incentives to enhance investor confidence. Since his return to power in June 2024, Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu—widely regarded as the ‘CEO CM’—has leveraged his governance expertise to position Andhra Pradesh ahead of key competitors like Rajasthan, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka in the RE sector
