AP’s First All-Women Private Varsity Gets Cabinet Green Light!

The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet has formally approved the creation of Vishnu Women's University, marking the establishment of the state's inaugural all-women private university. Chaired by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, the Cabinet authorized an ordinance to amend the Schedule of the Andhra Pradesh Private Universities (Establishment and Regulation) Act, 2016. This strategic initiative aims to broaden access to specialized higher education opportunities for women through private partnership.
