Arkade Developers has secured cluster redevelopment rights for nine cooperative housing societies in Kandivali East, Mumbai, covering an estimated saleable RERA carpet area of approximately 3.25 lakh sq. ft.
The redevelopment project is located in the Ashok Nagar area and spans nearly three acres. The company plans to develop a premium residential project with an estimated gross development value (GDV) of around Rs 1,100 crore.
Kandivali East has emerged as a prominent residential micro-market in Mumbai due to its strong connectivity through the Western Express Highway, suburban railway network, and Metro Line 2A. The locality also benefits from established social infrastructure, including schools, hospitals, retail centres, and proximity to key commercial hubs such as Bandra-Kurla Complex, Malad, Goregaon, and Andheri.
According to the company, the redevelopment project aligns with Arkade Developers’ strategy of creating design-focused, sustainable, and community-centric residential developments. The initiative further strengthens the company’s presence across the Mumbai Metropolitan Region and adds to its existing portfolio of more than 5.5 million sq. ft. of completed developments and over two million sq. ft. currently under construction.
