The Directorate of Medical Education, Training & Research (DMETR), Arunachal Pradesh, has invited bids for the establishment of a 100-seat medical college and the upgradation of the associated 100-bed district hospital, in alignment with National Medical Commission (NMC) norms.
The project will be developed on a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) basis, allowing private entities to design, build, finance, equip, furnish, augment, operate, and ultimately transfer the medical college and hospital facilities.
The scope of work includes:
Upgrading hospital infrastructure to meet NMC standards, Providing modern medical equipment, Furnishing academic spaces, including classrooms, laboratories, and faculty facilities
Operational management of both the medical college and the hospital throughout the concession period
This initiative aims to strengthen medical education and improve healthcare delivery in the region by developing a fully functional academic and clinical ecosystem.
The deadline for bid submission is 05 November 2025.
