Belgium-based Aliaxis’ Indian subsidiary, Ashirvad Pipes, plans to invest approximately ₹400 crore to set up two new greenfield manufacturing facilities in Chennai and Hyderabad by FY27.
The Hyderabad plant is set to commence operations by FY26, followed by the Chennai facility in FY27. This expansion will increase Ashirvad’s production capacity from 3 lakh tonnes to 4 lakh tonnes per annum.
A leading manufacturer of PVC, UPVC, and CPVC pipes and fittings, Ashirvad currently operates seven plants across India, including three in Bengaluru.
The company anticipates its revenue to grow from ₹6,500 crore in FY24 to ₹9,000 crore by FY27. Additionally, Ashirvad recently signed an MoU with Jadavpur University for research in new molecule development. India currently contributes around 17% to Aliaxis’ global revenue.
