Ayana Enters Madhya Pradesh Wind Sector with 200 MW Suzlon Deal

Suzlon Energy has won a 200 MW wind power order from Ayana Renewable Power for a project in Limbawas, Madhya Pradesh, marking Ayana’s entry into wind generation in the state.

The project will feature 64 S144 wind turbines, each with a capacity of 3.15 MW. Suzlon will execute the project on an end-to-end basis, covering engineering, procurement and construction, including turbine supply, land acquisition, infrastructure development, pooling substations, extra-high-voltage transmission lines and commissioning. The contract also includes operations and maintenance services. Power generated will be supplied to the state grid.

The order takes Suzlon’s cumulative orders for its S144 platform beyond 10 GW and marks its third development-led wind order across Madhya Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh. The financial value of the contract and commissioning timeline were not disclosed.

Suzlon said the partnership will support Ayana’s growing wind portfolio, while Ayana highlighted Suzlon’s turbine technology, execution capabilities and integrated project delivery approach.
