Azad Engineering has secured a pivotal contract from the Gas Turbine Research Establishment (GTRE) under the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) for the comprehensive manufacturing, assembly, and integration of advanced turbo engines crucial for India’s defence programs. This contract positions Azad Engineering as a key partner in India’s defence industry, responsible for delivering fully integrated turbo gas generator engines, with the first batch expected to be delivered by early 2026.
