Bajel Projects has secured a major Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract valued between ₹100 crore and ₹200 crore for the establishment and extension of high-voltage substations in India. The project includes the development of a 400 kV Gas Insulated Substation (GIS) and the extension of a 765 kV Air Insulated Substation (AIS), marking a significant advancement in the country’s power transmission infrastructure.
Awarded by a domestic client, the contract is scheduled for completion within 18 months from the date of issuance of the Notification of Award (NoA). Under the agreement, Bajel Projects will undertake the complete design, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of all substation components.
This project plays a crucial role in enhancing grid stability and meeting future energy demands, while reinforcing Bajel Projects’ growing presence in India’s power infrastructure sector and its capability to execute large-scale projects within stipulated timelines.
