Ahmedabad-based Praveg has officially transferred operations of its flagship property, Praveg Atoll’s on Bangaram Island, Lakshadweep, to Indian Hotels Company (IHCL), effective 02 May 2025. This follows a Hotel Management Agreement signed between the two companies on 03 March 2025.
IHCL will operate the resort under its luxury SeleQtions brand, marking a strategic collaboration focused on elevating eco-conscious luxury travel in India’s premier island destinations. With the handover, IHCL takes full charge of all operational aspects, including guest services, culinary offerings, leisure activities, and environmental stewardship.
As part of the SeleQtions portfolio, the Bangaram Island resort is positioned as an exclusive retreat offering personalized service, spa treatments, locally inspired cuisine, and immersive cultural experiences. The property emphasizes sustainability through low-impact architecture, eco-friendly infrastructure, and marine conservation practices, ensuring harmony with the island’s fragile ecosystem.
The resort’s inclusion in IHCL’s global marketing and loyalty ecosystem will boost international visibility and offer guests access to premium travel benefits and rewards.
