Belding India, formerly known as Synthiko Foils, has established Belding HD India as a joint venture with HD Fabcon, holding a 55% stake in the new company, while HD Fabcon owns the remaining 45%.
The incorporation of Belding HD India marks Belding India's entry into the renewable energy and battery energy storage systems (BESS) sector. The venture combines HD Fabcon's strengths in business development and market access with Belding India's capabilities in manufacturing, project execution, operational management, and engineering expertise.
Belding HD India will focus on identifying, developing, executing, and managing renewable energy and energy storage projects, with the objective of delivering scalable clean energy solutions and building a strong presence in India's rapidly growing energy transition market.
Belding India is currently engaged in the slitting, lamination, coating, and printing of aluminium foils for pharmaceutical packaging and is broadening its business scope through this expansion into the clean energy sector.
