BEL's Strategic Win: ₹577 Crore in New Defense Contracts

Bharat Electronics (BEL) has secured additional orders worth ₹577 crore since its last disclosure on February 20, 2025. These contracts cover a range of strategic defense and communication systems, further strengthening BEL’s leadership in India’s defense sector.

Key orders include airborne electronic warfare systems, an advanced composite communication system for submarines, a Doppler weather radar, a train communication system, radar upgrades, as well as spares and services. These acquisitions reinforce BEL’s diversified portfolio and its critical role in advancing India’s defense and technological capabilities.

With these latest contracts, BEL’s total order book for the current financial year has reached ₹13,724 crore. As a key contributor to the ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ initiative, BEL remains committed to developing cutting-edge defense technologies. With a strong order pipeline and a significant presence in major defense projects, the company is well-positioned for continued growth and innovation.
