BEML to Build Advanced LHB Coaches in ₹1,888 Crore Deal

BEML Limited has received a significant order valued at approximately ₹1,888 crore from the Integral Coach Factory (ICF) for the manufacture, supply, testing, and commissioning of fully functional Linke Hofmann Busch (LHB) coaches.

The turnkey contract encompasses end-to-end execution, ensuring the coaches meet the highest standards of safety, ride comfort, and performance. LHB coaches, known for their superior speed and enhanced passenger comfort, are increasingly deployed across Indian Railways' premium services.

BEML will utilize its state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities and proven engineering expertise to deliver the project within the stipulated timeline. The initiative is expected to significantly contribute to improving passenger experience and operational efficiency in India’s rail network.

This order further reinforces BEML’s pivotal role in India’s railway modernisation efforts and its growing reputation as a leading supplier of advanced passenger rolling stock.
