Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has invited bids for the commissioning of electrical and control & instrumentation (C&I) works related to the flue gas desulphurisation (FGD) system at the 1x800 MW Unit-12 of Kothagudem Thermal Power Station (KTPS), Stage-VII, in Telangana.
The scope of work includes handling, installation, and commissioning of electrical systems, cabling, wiring, power distribution, instrumentation setup, testing, and integration of all components involved in the FGD system. This system plays a crucial role in reducing sulphur dioxide (SO₂) emissions and aligning the plant’s operations with current environmental regulations.
The last date for bid submission is 18 August 2025.
