Bhimashankar Infra Tender: ₹107 Cr Project Up For Grabs

The Planning Department of Maharashtra has issued a tender for infrastructure development under the Shri Kshetra Bhimashankar Development Plan (Part-I Nigdale), aimed at enhancing facilities at the prominent pilgrimage and tourist site in Taluka Ambegaon, Pune district.

With an estimated project cost of ₹106.97 crore, the initiative includes the construction of a Bhavik Suvidha Kendra (pilgrim amenities centre), internal roads, a parking terminal, bus stand, driver restrooms, and a compound wall. The project is designed to improve convenience, accessibility, and overall infrastructure for the growing number of visitors to the sacred Bhimashankar temple complex.

The development plan seeks to blend modern amenities with the site’s religious and cultural heritage, promoting sustainable tourism, enhancing regional connectivity, and contributing to local economic growth.

The last date for bid submission is October 24, 2025.
