Bhimashankar's Distillery Project Redefines Sustainability in Maharashtra

Bhimashankar Sugar Mills Limited's strategic move into a distillery manufacturing unit in Washi, Osmanabad, Maharashtra, signifies a significant diversification endeavor, underpinned by an investment of 32.10 crores. This initiative, designed to produce 30 KLPD of distillery output primarily focusing on ethanol production from molasses, holds immense promise for elevating renewable energy usage, bolstering economic prospects, and contributing to India's ethanol self-sufficiency.

As on December, 2024. Currently, the project is at the approvals stage. Awaiting authorization from the government.
