Bid Now for Madurai's Underground Sewerage System Construction

The Madurai Corporation has issued a tender for the implementation of an underground sewerage system in previously underserved areas, as well as newly incorporated sections of North Vaigai within the Madurai City Municipal Corporation, as part of the Amrut 2.0 initiative - encompassing Package-I and Package-II.

This project encompasses the construction, operation, and maintenance of the sewerage infrastructure, including collection systems and related works. The construction phase spans 36 months, followed by a six-month trial run and commissioning period. Subsequently, the operation and maintenance activities are slated for a duration of 60 months.

The estimated costs for Package-I and Package-II under the AMRUT scheme are Rs 163.76 crore and Rs 269.46 crore, respectively.

Interested parties must submit their bids for both packages by the 27th of March, 2024.
