The Jodhpur Development Authority has invited bids for the design and development of a comprehensive sewerage system and a new Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) for the Jhalamand area in Jodhpur, Rajasthan.
Valued at ₹53.63 crore, the project aims to strengthen wastewater management infrastructure and reduce pollution in the Jojari River. The scope includes the construction of a modern 10 MLD (million litres per day) STP and a complete sewerage network, with a scheduled completion period of 24 months.
The proposed facility will ensure efficient sewage collection, treatment, and environmentally safe disposal, contributing to better urban sanitation and supporting environmental sustainability. The initiative is aligned with the goals of the National River Conservation Plan (NRCP), focused on curbing river pollution and improving water quality.
The last date for bid submission is 03 October 2025.
