Big Win for Elecon: Secures Rs 82.78 Crore Order from Steel Giant

Elecon Engineering (EEL) has recently secured a letter of intent (LoI) from ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India (AMNS), valued at Rs 82.78 crore, for the supply of essential mechanical equipment.

Under this agreement, Elecon Engineering will undertake the manufacturing and delivery of belt conveyor mechanical equipment and technological structures designated for AMNS's Hazira plant in Surat, Gujarat. The completion of the project is anticipated within approximately 10 months.

This noteworthy contract further solidifies Elecon Engineering's standing as a leading manufacturer of industrial gears and material handling equipment in Asia.

It is worth noting that in the preceding year, Elecon Engineering's subsidiary, Elecon Middle East FZCO, Dubai, took a strategic step by incorporating its wholly-owned subsidiary, Elecon Radicon Africa, contributing to the company's global expansion efforts.
