IHG Hotels & Resorts has entered into a franchise agreement with YB Group to develop a Holiday Inn Express hotel in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), with the property scheduled to open by the first quarter of 2028.
Strategically located in one of Mumbai’s premier commercial districts, the hotel will offer strong connectivity to key business hubs, consulates, and cultural centres. The property is expected to cater to business travellers, MICE guests, and leisure visitors. Holiday Inn Express, IHG’s fastest-growing brand, is known for providing smart, efficient, and comfortable stays, featuring flexible workspaces and contemporary design.
Commenting on the development, Sudeep Jain, Managing Director, South West Asia, IHG Hotels & Resorts, said the partnership with YB Group will bring the Holiday Inn Express brand to BKC, a location synonymous with global business activity.
The upcoming hotel will be IHG’s third Holiday Inn Express property in Mumbai, alongside existing projects on Andheri–Kurla Road and in Powai, further strengthening the group’s footprint in India’s financial capital.
