Bluebird Solar is set to significantly enhance its manufacturing capabilities through a strategic partnership with Cliantech Solutions. Together, they will install an 800 MW fully automated solar panel production line at Bluebird’s Greater Noida facility. This expansion, scheduled to go live by August 2024, will boost the company’s total solar module manufacturing capacity to 1.2 GW. The collaboration is designed to address the surging global demand for renewable energy by improving production efficiency.
The partnership also includes plans for a second phase, involving a 600 MW production line expected to be operational by the end of 2024. This upcoming line will feature state-of-the-art technologies, including advanced automation and precision testing equipment, to enhance both efficiency and product quality. Innovations like line automation, Visual laminators, Asicpy EL testers, and HSPV sun simulators will be incorporated.
Bluebird Solar’s manufacturing hub in Greater Noida, spanning five acres and over 200,000 sq. ft., is equipped with AI-driven machinery and ISO-certified processes. Currently, the facility operates at 400 MW capacity and will soon offer a comprehensive range of N-Type TOPCon PV modules with outputs up to 645Wp, available in various cell configurations.
