BluPine Energy has reached a major milestone by securing Rs 239 crore ($28.6 million) in funding for its 75MWp solar power project in Chhattisgarh. The funding, facilitated by a consortium led by Tata Capital, marks the successful financial closure of this ambitious renewable energy initiative.
In collaboration with APL Apollo Building Products, a subsidiary of APL Apollo Tubes, the solar project is set to play a crucial role in meeting the power needs of APL Apollo. Once operational, the plant is anticipated to produce around 117 million units (MUs) of energy annually, showcasing its significant contribution to the regional power grid.
The environmental impact of the project is equally impressive. BluPine Energy estimates that the solar plant will help offset over 107,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions each year, underscoring its commitment to sustainability and environmental conservation.
This project not only demonstrates BluPine’s growing influence in the renewable energy sector but also highlights the vital role of strategic financial partnerships in advancing large-scale green energy initiatives.
