Bondada's Bihar Blitz: ₹63 Cr Solar Street Light Win!

Bondada E&E has secured a ₹63.86 crore contract from the Department of Panchayati Raj, Government of Bihar, for the implementation of Phase IV of the Mukhyamantri Gramin Solar Street Light Yojana.

The project is focused on strengthening rural infrastructure and promoting renewable energy adoption across multiple districts. Under this phase, Bondada E&E will install 9,150 solar street lights in Bhojpur, 7,850 in Gopalganj, and 3,510 in Rohtas district, enhancing public safety, visibility, and sustainability in rural communities.

The company’s scope of work includes the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of solar street lighting systems, along with comprehensive maintenance and monitoring services.

This initiative aligns with Bihar’s commitment to expanding green energy solutions and improving public amenities in remote areas. It is expected to reduce energy costs, lower carbon emissions, and boost rural development and nighttime mobility across the state.
